Naptime - Student Lounge (open)

[Douv Zhou]

Douv just wanted to see if she had left her book in the student lounge. A quick sidle into the room, find her book, and leave.

So why was she stuck on the floor with Kazari's brother latched onto her?

She knew the Baratoges suffered from narcoleptic episodes, but had only ever witnessed Kazari's unconscious form about the castle. Her brother-- and it was clearly her brother, even if he wasn't quite as furry as he usually was-- was slumped on the floor with his back against the couch, as if he had gone to sit and missed. He was snoring quietly.

And Douv had been dumb enough to try and wake him up. If nothing else, she wanted him to move onto the couch so that he wouldn't wake up sore. Instead, he had glommed onto her arm and pulled her in. He hooked three of his limbs around her like she was a teddy bear and flopped over sideways onto the floor.

Douv sighed, and tried to carefully pry herself from the male Baratoge's grasp to no avail. She was well and truly trapped.

Well, at least she was warm.

"H-Hello...?" She cleared her throat and called again, hoping passers-by would hear and possibly come to her aid. "Can someone help me out?"

[Rúna]

Rúna paused outside the student lounge at the faint cry for help. Frowning, she looked in and blinked. That was an interesting predicament.

She moved forward and knelt beside the entangled students, tilting her head as she assessed the situation. "How long have you been like this?"

[Douv Zhou]

Douv couldn't help the pout that came to her lips. "Just a few minutes. i came in looking for a book, and he was on the floor so I tried to wake him up, and this happened." She wiggled her feet a bit and grumbled.

"I don't know how long he's been asleep, either."

[Rúna]

Rúna resisted the urge to smile, and started trying to pry the guy's limbs off of the girl. It was harder than she'd expected. "I hope you at least know each other, or this could be a lot weirder."

[Douv Zhou]

Douv tried to squirm free as the young woman worked at Kazuo's grip, but the man's arms were heavy.

"I don't, actually." She grumbled again. "I know his sister, but I haven't really--" wiggle "--spoken to Kazuo. Not as a human, at least."

[Rúna]

"Ah." Rúna wasn't too familiar with him either, but she recognized the name of the delivery bear she'd seen around town and campus. "Does he often sleep like this?" She managed to pry one of Kazuo's arms away, and held it up so the young woman could wiggle out easier.

[Douv Zhou]

Douv finally managed to pull her upper half free of Kazuo's grip with Rúna's help, though her legs remained trapped.

"I had no idea he was just as heavy as a man as he was as a bear. This shouldn't be scientifically possible."

[Rúna]

Rúna laughed. "You're talking to a woman who can turn into a swan and back. I don't think science totally applies here." She moved to start freeing the other woman's legs, her thoughts wandering. If she shifted now, would her arms change to replace the wings she'd lost? Or would she be wingless in either form?

[Douv Zhou]

"That's very true." Douv shrugged and worked to slide her legs free. It wasn't working so well.

[Rúna]

Rúna kept trying to shift Kazuo's limbs while the woman wiggled. "I guess we should introduce ourselves at some point. I'm Rúna."

[Kazuo "Kuma-kun" Baratoge]

Kazuo grew vaguely aware of voices and some subtle perfume in the air. One eye cracked open slowly as his brain worked to recognize where he was.

Oh.

Well.

"Hi?" Kazuo sat up and raked his hair back with a groggy half-smile. "Did I do somethin', or...?" He was more than a little confused to find two girls looming over him, but at least it wasn't a gaggle of th--

"Ah," he glanced down a realized he had pretty effectively trapped one of the girls' legs. Oops. He pulled away from her and helped her sit up, chuckling under his breath.

"Sorry 'bout that... I get a little cuddly when I'm out, apparently."

[Douv Zhou]

Douv rubbed her calves, which had started to fall asleep, and arched an eyebrow at the newly conscious Kazuo.

"Cuddly is one word for it."

She flicked her bangs out of her eyes and smiled up at Rúna. "I'm Douv."

[Rúna]

Rúna stepped back as Kazuo woke up, and nodded as Douv spoke. "Nice to meet you. Is that 'dove', like the bird?"

[Douv Zhou]

Douv shook her head. "Nah, it's short for Daridouvlyn."

[Rúna]

Rúna tilted her head and smiled. "That's pretty unique, even for what I've heard around here. I like it."
